Frequently Asked Questions

What’s the time commitment?

It’s up to you! Some members contribute regularly, others help when they can. Every bit makes a difference.

Is Lions just for older people?

Not at all. Lions Clubs include people of all ages. We also support youth-led Leo Clubs for those aged 12–30.

Paying to volunteer, what’s that about?

Yep, Lions members pay a small fee, but here’s why…it ensures 100% of public donations go straight to the cause – unlike other charities that take a cut for admin. It’s a small price to pay for big impact!

What if there’s no club near me?

We’ll help you find the closest club – or support you to start something new in your area. We also have online clubs!
