Meet our Lions Hero
Margaret, while being a mainstay Lion for 13 years, has resisted all previous recognition of her selfless contributions to Lions and Community. This contribution comes while also caring for her aged and frail mother. As secretary, Margaret has guided this Club through difficult times for the past 8 years.
Margaret’s main achievement is her unsurpassed commitment and volunteering efforts, including:
OUR HOUSE CATERING – thrice yearly for cancer-treatment patients at LBH.
OUR KIDS EVENTS – Samson Challenge and Winter Ball
RAFFLES – 3 annually
BARBECUES – Monthly
LIONS AWARENESS DAY – Display Material
ANZAC DAY – Dawn Service assistance, flag and badge selling
DAFFODIL DAY – Cancer Council merchandise selling
