Meet our Lions Hero
Lion Frankie Tang’s trademark is his smiling face. His strength lies in his leadership abilities and his cheerful disposition. He actively encourages the members of the Lions Club of Melbourne Chinese to further their own management skill by attending Lions leadership training programmes. His outstanding attendance at Club meetings and generous involvement in Lions community projects reflect his desire to lead by example.
Under his guidance and leadership, he has been instrumental in his club being involved in numerous projects and achieving the following awards:
- Club Excellence Award for 2019-2020
- Winning the Constitutional Area 7 “Top Club Service Project” in 2018
- Host Club for the 2019 District Convention with the chartering of a new Club Lion Club of Great Ocean with 45 members. On the closing evening 20 Melvin Jones Fellowships were presented.
- His Club has also pledged our commitment to become a Campaign Model Club to support LCIF campaign 100.
His personal achievements.
- Being Club Treasurer and President on various occasions
- Being District Governor of District 201V1-4 for 2019-2020
- Recipient of District Team Excellent Award 2019-2020
- Recipient of District Governor Extension Award for 2019-2020
- Recipient of LCIF Chairperson’s Medal for 2019-2020.
