How does it actually work?
Doing Good Rewards built an automatic loyalty system where Visa/Mastercard/Eftpos automatically recognise cards in-store and give a discount, plus the discount is automatically split into savings & donations. Shop in-store at retailers with your registered card/s. Shop online or buy gift cards through the Doing Good Rewards site or app – everything will happen automatically – there are no codes to enter at checkout. You pay full price at checkout and part of your discount will appear in your nominated bank account in 7 working days and part of your discount will be donated to our foundations. Some members are even choosing to send the savings directly to their club’s admin account to help pay their membership fees (be sure to tell your Treasurer if you nominate your club’s bank account to receive your savings).
Is my credit card information safe?
Yes, your card details are secure – all details are ‘tokenised’ so we never see your card information, we just see xxxx and the last four digits. The system is ‘PCI compliant’. Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance refers to the technical and operational standards that businesses follow to secure and protect credit card data provided by cardholders and transmitted through card processing transactions.

Are my microdonations tax-deductible?
Yes they are! At the end of the financial year, you will receive a statement from Doing Good Rewards (Doing Good Charitable Fund is the ACNC registered charity with DGR status) with all of your micro donations so that you can add one lump sum to claim in your tax return. How good is that!?
