Established under the jurisdiction of the MD 201 Constitution and By-Laws, the Insurance, Risk Management and Child Safe Committee has the responsibility of advising the Council of Governors on a suitable insurance, risk management and child safety programme for the Lions Clubs in Australia, Papua New Guinea and Norfolk Island.

Assisted and advised by the Council-appointed Insurance Brokers, the Committee reports to each council meeting and subsequently carries out its instructions and oversees the control of the various insurance, risk management and child safe policies.
