Advanced Lions Leadership Institute
Dates: 11th – 13th September 2018
Location: Wellington, New Zealand
Application deadline: 16th July 2018   COMPLETEDThe Advanced Lions Leadership Institute focuses on building the skills required to become leaders at the zone, region and district levels. Candidates must be Lions that have completed a successful term as club president, but have not yet obtained the position of 1st Vice District Governor.

Emerging Lions Leadership Institute
Dates: 12th – 14th April 2019
Location: Auckland, New Zealand
Application deadline: 28th January 2019

The Emerging Lions Leadership Institute focuses on building the skills required to become leaders at the club levels, including the position of club president. Candidates must be Lions that have served on a club committee and have yet to attain the position of Club President.  Current Charter Presidents are eligible.

Regional Lions Leadership Institute
Dates: 22nd – 24th February 2019
Location: Adelaide, Australia
Application deadline: 11th January 2019

The Regional Lions Leadership Institute focuses on building the skills required to become leaders at the club and district levels, and having been a club President does not automatically exclude selection.  This programme is targeting newer Lions & Leos who wish to develop their leadership skills for the future & who may be considering taking on a club or district leadership role. Candidates must be Lions or Leos (of adult age).

Faculty Development Institute
Dates: 16th – 18th March 2019
Location: Melbourne, Australia

The Faculty Development Institute is a three-day institute that serves to develop and expand the number of skilled Lions faculty available for use in training at the club, district, and multiple district levels.

The curriculum is designed to enhance training delivery skills and training techniques that will increase the quality of training and overall effectiveness of Lions leadership development programs.

Qualified candidates are those Lions who have some experience as instructors at local Lions training events, have demonstrated basic instructional skills, and have a keen interest in further developing those skills.

A candidate’s training experience should include using PowerPoint to support training delivery.

Each of the above Institutes are run as a residential institute and all candidates are required to commit to all days of the institute, attend all sessions and group meals.  Meals and lodgings on twin share basis are provided by Lions Clubs International and Multiple District 201.
