
The Lions Child Safe Policy has recently been revised and it’s time to find out how it operates with your Lions National Youth Programs. A series of webinars has been planned to discuss and learn about the policy, each focusing on a different Lions Youth program.

The webinar is presented by Georgina Anderson and Peter Comino of Child Safe Consultancy, with our Lions National Child Safe Officer, PDG Donna Hedges. Some webinars will be repeated later in the year if needed

ABOUT CHILD SAFE CONSULTANCY
Peter and Georgina are Directors of Australian Child Safe Consultancy. Peter is a practising Mental Health Social Worker he holds BA in Psychology and a postgraduate in Social Work. Georgina is a practising Psychologist and holds an MA in Psychology. Australian Child Safe Consultancy writes and audits Policies as well as conducts training in Child Protection for organisations.
Peter and Georgina both have a background in child protection policy and implementation in New Zealand, the United Kingdom and Australia.
Australian Child Safe Consultancy was contracted by Lions Australia to write the new Child Safe policy in 2019. Lions Australia had recently re-engaged their services to conduct a review of the policy and hone the aspects that members felt would help them implement the policy.
