30 June deadline for Australian youth travelling overseas with Lions Youth Exchange
Australian youth can travel in 2012-13 to Japan, New Zealand, South America, USA, Canada, UK, Europe and other destinations with the Lions Youth Exchange Program. Approximate costs are New Zealand $1,500, Japan $3,900, South America $5,500 and USA/Europe $6,000.  All youth depart early December and return mid-January. Accommodation is provided free-of-charge by Lions families in the destination countries. The Program suits students wishing to practise second languages overseas, students in their gap year and young adults wanting to see the world. YEP is not a study-based or tourist-based program but an opportunity to explore other cultures and countries. Interested youth should contact their local Lions Club or go to www.lionsclubs.org.au/ye for more information.
