Our District objectives are to give a visiting overseas Lion and his/her partner the opportunity to meet with Australian Lions within District 201 V2; to study meeting procedures, activities and projects, and to promote and encourage friendship and understanding between members of our International Lions Family.
Our District has been doing this program since 2000. And we have had many Lions from various countries visit us.
This year our District is looking forward to hosting Lions Stephen and Louise Browne from Lions Club of Ipswich District 105EA Essex United Kingdom.
Stephen is a Lion Picture Framer and joined Lions in 1994 and is currently President elect this year, plus Treasurer of both his club and Zone.
Louise is a Rehab Assistant and joined Lions in 2002.
They are both looking forward to being involved in club activities, fund raising, community projects and social events, to learn and share ideas between clubs.
They will be our guests for just over three weeks. Arriving the evening of 25th October and flying home PM on 17th November.
This portfolio upholds our Purposes “To create and foster a spirit of understanding among the peoples of the word.”
